Williams Sunday Joins Egyptian Premier League Side Ghazl El Mahalla

Nigerian striker Williams Sunday has officially completed a move to Egyptian Premier League side, Ghazl El Mahalla SC, from Nigeria Professional Football League outfit Niger Tornadoes for an undisclosed fee.

The 25-year-old forward becomes the latest Nigerian export to the North African football scene and is expected to bring firepower to El Mahalla’s frontline as they gear up for the new season.

Before his stint at Niger Tornadoes, Williams had a remarkable spell with Kano Pillars, where he played a key role in the club’s push for promotion playoffs.

Williams brings a wealth of domestic experience to his new club, having previously featured for several top NPFL sides including Remo Stars, Warri Wolves, Akwa United, and Rivers United.
