Bechem United have officially announced the signing of Nigerian forward Frank Promise from El-Kanemi Warriors of Maiduguri ahead of the 2025/26 Ghana Premier League season.
The 23-year-old attacker, Frank Promise joins the Hunters on a two-year deal as the club looks to strengthen its squad following a mid-table finish last season. Promise arrived in Ghana in late July to finalize the move and is expected to join full training with his new teammates immediately.

Known for his pace, flair, and direct style of play, Frank Promise is considered a strong addition to Bechem United’s frontline. The club believes his arrival will provide much-needed attacking depth and creativity as they aim to improve their league standing under new head coach Stephen Desmond-Issah Botchway.
Bechem United finished 10th in the 2024/25 campaign and have been active in the transfer market, targeting young talents across West Africa. Promise’s performances in domestic competitions in Nigeria reportedly caught the attention of several scouts, but Bechem United moved quickly to secure his signature.
The Nigerian forward is expected to feature in the club’s upcoming pre-season matches and could make his official debut when the Ghana Premier League kicks off later this month.
Bechem United will be hoping that Promise’s arrival sparks a new era of attacking football and helps the club push for a top-four finish in the coming season.
