1st August 2025 Rosemary Nwankwo Chigozie set the tone in the girls’ 100m heats flying to a Personal Best of 11.71s to win her race with authority.

Fast forward to today, and she’s the new African School Games Champion, clocking 11.76s to take gold.

Right beside her every step of the way was Miracle Ezechukwu Nigeria’s U18 sprint queen, who cruised through her heat and returned with even more poise to take silver in 11.86s. Back to back brilliance.
