Shooting Stars’ New Coach Nurudeen Aweroro Promises Hard Work, Real Business, No Regrets

The new head coach at Shooting Stars Sports Club (3SC) of Ibadan, Nurudeen Aweroro, has officially taken charge of the Oluyole Warriors, with a promise to instil hard work and real business into the squad, so that there will be no regrets over his appointment.

Sports247 reports that 3SC’s new helmsman arrives with a fat CV that includes stints with Remo Stars of Ikenne as well as Mountain of Fire Ministries (MFM) FC and Ikorodu City FC of Lagos.

Just this past season, he joined Ikorodu City midway through their debut in the top-flight division and took them out of relegation waters to finish fourth on the final table of the Nigerian Professional Football League (NPFL).

Aweroro said after his official unveiling at 3SC’s secretariat in Jericho area of Ibadan, “I feel so good, and I will continue being happy to be here. I felt I was dreaming, but I know it’s all about hard work. The hard work I put in has paid off for me.”

He continued by making a pledge about what he has to offer the insatiable 3SC fans, with a declaration that he, his crew members and the players will give the very best of their abilities.

Aweroro assured, “I will give the club my best, and I will make sure that I continue to make the fans happy. We are going to give out 100% energy.

“We are going to give the best of ourselves. I and my backroom staff are ready to give out the best. I also want to promise that they will never regret having me here.”

The amiable tactician also assured that all Shooting Stars players will enjoy his style, as he intends to make them feel relaxed and comfortable, though business-minded, in the coming NPFL campaign.

“I want to believe we are here for business. We are business partners with the players. We are here for business, not for jokes.

“I also want the players to feel comfortable and feel relaxed that they are working with the best coach,” Aweroro disclosed.

He concluded with words of pride about the 3SC symbol he is now saddled with, affirming that he will do everything to avoid regrets by anyone during his tenure at the club.

“Wearing this badge is a very big privilege for me, and I will never regret it. I want to believe the fans and Shooting Stars’ family will never regret working with me,” he posited.
