Nigerian U20 players Benjamin Precious and Emmanuel Chukwu made second-half appearances for TSG Hoffenheim in their 3–0 victory over Werder Bremen during a preseason international friendly held on August 1 in Schwaz, Austria.
The two promising talents were brought on in the 79th minute of the second match in a doubleheader against the same opponent. Despite limited minutes, both players impressed with their energy and composure, helping Hoffenheim close out a dominant second-half performance.

Gift Orban, another Nigerian international, opened the scoring shortly after halftime, with Wouter Burger and Alexander Prass adding to the tally. Kevin Akpoguma, a regular Super Eagles defender, also featured for Hoffenheim in the friendlies.
In total, four Nigerian players represented Hoffenheim on the day: Orban, Akpoguma, Benjamin, and Chukwu. Super Eagles defender Felix Agu was also in action for Werder Bremen during the fixtures.
The matches were part of Hoffenheim’s ongoing preseason training camp, and the inclusion of young Nigerian talents highlights the club’s investment in youth development and growing Nigerian presence in the squad.
