The D’Tigress are eyeing a record-extending fifth consecutive AfroBasket title.
Senegal, meanwhile, stunned hosts Côte d’Ivoire to book their place in the last four, signaling their intent to dethrone Nigeria and reclaim continental glory.
The West African powerhouses share a rich rivalry, with Nigeria winning their last four encounters, including the 2023 AfroBasket final (84–74) and a 72–65 triumph at the 2024 Olympic Qualifying Tournament in Belgium.
