Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen has officially signed a permanent deal with Turkish giants Galatasaray in a record-breaking €75 million transfer from Napoli.
The deal, which includes €40 million paid upfront, €35 million in installments through 2026, €5 million in bonuses, and a 10% future sell-on clause, is the most expensive in Turkish football history.

Osimhen, 26, returns to the club after a successful loan spell in the 2024/2025 season, where he scored 37 goals and provided 8 assists across all competitions, helping Galatasaray secure a domestic double.
Speaking during his unveiling, Osimhen said: “I feel so great to be back here. Just look at the crowd, look at the people — I’m home. This is where I want to be, and I’m truly happy to return to a place where I feel safe, both for myself and my family.”
He also thanked the club’s president, vice president, and everyone involved in making the transfer possible, adding, “To the amazing fans — thank you. You wanted me at Galatasaray, and I want you just as much. Like I always say, the story continues and I want to continue it with Galatasaray.”
Osimhen has signed a four-year contract with Galatasaray worth €15 million net annually, alongside an additional €10 million in sponsorship income.
The Super Eagles forward had joined Napoli in 2020 and became one of Europe’s most lethal strikers, winning the Serie A title in 2023 and the CAF Player of the Year award. His return to Galatasaray signals the club’s ambition to reassert its dominance both domestically and in European competitions.
