Portsmouth FC have signed talented Nigerian goalkeeper Comfort Erharbor ahead of the 2025 Women’s Super League 2 season in England. The 19-year-old shot-stopper, a former invitee to Nigeria’s U17 women’s national team, joins the club with a growing reputation for her modern goalkeeping style, including sharp reflexes, quick decision-making, and strong ball distribution.
Erharbor, who developed through youth systems in Nigeria before moving abroad, told Futbal Galore she is excited for the new challenge and focused on making an impact at the club.

“Joining Portsmouth is a big step for me,” she said. “It’s a club with great ambition, and I’m ready to contribute and grow with the team.”
The young goalkeeper also expressed her desire to return to the international stage, this time with the senior national team, the Super Falcons.
“Representing Nigeria at the U17 level was an honor,” she said. “But I want to go further. I’m working hard every day to earn a future call-up to the Super Falcons and represent my country at major tournaments.”
Comfort Erharbor is expected to compete for the starting role at Portsmouth as they push for promotion in the WSL2 campaign.
