Kun Khalifat Football of Owerri, The Pride of Imo State is thrilled to announce a new Sporting Director, a legendary figure in Nigerian and international football, Mr Ifeanyi Anaemena, with an illustrious playing career spanning multiple clubs, like Giwa FC, Enyimba, Rivers United, Al Nahda of Saudi Arabia and Remo Stars FC where he helped them win their first ever NPFL title last season (he has three NPFL titles to his name), he is a great centre back of high repute and one of the highest scoring defenders and he brings invaluable experience and expertise to our team.
Kun Khalifat FC, a newly promoted team, will kickoff their first-ever Nigeria Premier Football League match against the Flying Antelope in Enugu at Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium Enugu. The new season is scheduled to kickoff on August 22.

Chief Executive Officer of the Pride of Imo, Emeafula Micheal has attestated that Kun Khalifat is ready to compete in the NPFL and represent Imo State He added, “As our Sporting Director,” Ifeanyi Anaemena will leverage his vast experience to drive our club’s success. His intimate knowledge of the game, coupled with his passion for football development, will be instrumental in shaping our team’s strategy and nurturing young talent.
Ifeanyi Anaemena will aim to, develope a strong team spirit and camaraderie, foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement, identify, recruit and nurture young talent, uplift tram strategy and planning, collaboration with coaches and help drive our club’s success in local and international competitions.
