Inter Milan Steps Up Pursuit of Ademola Lookman With Improved Offer

Inter Milan are set to hold crucial talks with Atalanta today as they intensify efforts to secure the signing of Nigerian forward Ademola Lookman.

According to reports from Gazzetta dello Sport via FCInterNews, Inter’s president Beppe Marotta will meet with Atalanta president Luca Percassi to present an improved bid for the 27-year-old winger.

The Nerazzurri are expected to table an offer of €43 million, up from their initial €40 million proposal, and may include performance-related bonuses to push the deal over the line.

Ademola Lookman, who has already agreed to personal terms with Inter, is reportedly eager to complete the move to San Siro and is awaiting Atalanta’s approval.

Despite Atalanta rejecting the opening bid, Inter remain determined to land the versatile attacker, with new head coach Cristian Chivu naming him a top transfer target.

Negotiations have been ongoing for weeks, but today’s meeting is seen as a potential breakthrough moment for the transfer.

Should the deal be finalized, Lookman would become one of Inter’s marquee signings of the summer as they prepare for the upcoming Serie A campaign.
