The squad announcement comes as anticipation builds for Nigeria to make a bold statement at the upcoming championship.

Goalkeepers Henry Ozoemena Ani, Nurudeen Badmus, and Lawal Mustapha will be guarding the goalposts, while the defense line includes Sodiq Ismaila, Bankole Afeez, Taiwo Abdulrafiu, and others who have shown consistent form in domestic competitions.

The midfield will be marshaled by players like Adedayo Olamilekan, Akanni Qudus, and Michael Tochukwu—individuals known for their creative vision and tactical discipline.

Upfront, forwards such as Godwin Obaje, Jabbar Malik, and Sikiru Alimi are expected to lead the attack with precision and power.

The team’s departure to Zanzibar marks the beginning of their final camping phase before the tournament begins.
