Swiss-based football coach Anthony Adeyemi Adedeji is set to support football development in Nigeria with his expertise in modern coaching techniques Sports247 reports.
Adedeji who is presently on Holiday in Nigeria has made himself available to academies and clubs seeking theoretical and practical training sessions focused on contemporary football methodology.

“Interested academies or clubs can reach out to me for modern training sessions before I return,” Adedeji said.
Recently, the UEFA-certified coach recently conducted a session with Badagry United players, where he introduced them to the importance of tactical and technical discipline, with a strong emphasis on understanding zone 1 (defensive third), zone 2 (midfield), and zone 3 (attacking third) principles of play.
He noted that his training exposed the players to advanced football concepts crucial for their growth and performance on the pitch.
Swiss-Based Coach Adeyemi also highlighted the critical need for early exposure to high-performance training for grassroots players.
According to him, introducing young players to structured, high-level coaching early in their development builds a solid technical foundation, improves decision-making under pressure, and enhances their overall football intelligence—factors that are vital for those aspiring to play at professional levels.
He added that closing the gap between grassroots and elite-level football begins with grassroots coaches adopting global best practices and creating a culture of discipline, structure, and continuous learning.
