Former Collins Edwin Sports Club player and standout Nigerian talent, Okeke E. Kelvin, has been promoted to the B-Team of Czech side FC Hradec Králové after a sensational season with the club’s U19 team.
The 18-year-old forward, fondly known as “Gladiator” in reference to his time at Collins Edwin — nicknamed The Gladiators — scored 15 goals and provided 10 assists in just 21 appearances, helping Hradec Králové U19 clinch the league title.
Kelvin’s consistent performance and attacking flair made him one of the most effective forwards in the Czech youth league this season.
His contribution directly impacted the team’s success and earned him a deserved step up to the reserve team for the 2025/2026 campaign.
The promotion marks a significant milestone in Kelvin’s development, positioning him closer to senior football in Europe.
His progress is being closely followed back home in Nigeria, where he began his journey with Collins Edwin Sports Club, a respected academy known for producing elite talent.
With preseason preparations underway, Okeke Kelvin is now focused on making his mark at the B-Team level, aiming to continue his upward trajectory in Czech football.
