As anticipation mounts ahead of the 2024/2025 President Federation Cup Grand Finale, the Lagos State Football Association (LSFA) has reaffirmed its commitment to ensuring a safe, secure, and enjoyable experience for all fans attending the showpiece event at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena, Onikan.
With the prestigious double-header expected to draw thousands of spectators on Saturday, the LSFA has introduced comprehensive security and operational measures to ensure a smooth experience at the 6,000-capacity stadium.
“In line with international best practices, we’ve strengthened our security protocols and seating arrangements,” the LSFA announced. “Every fan will be required to sit in their designated section, and access will be strictly limited to those with valid tickets or official accreditation.”
To promote wide participation, ticket prices have been kept affordable. Popular stand tickets are priced at ₦500, while VIP access is set at ₦10,000.
The grand finale will feature two thrilling matchups: reigning champions Rivers Angels will clash with Nasarawa Amazons in the women’s final, followed by the men’s showdown between giant-killing Abakaliki FC and Nigeria Premier Football League contenders Kwara United.
“We are confident this will be an unforgettable occasion,” the association stated. “Beyond the football, we aim to set a new benchmark for the matchday experience in Nigeria—combining top-tier security, fan-friendly pricing, and professional event coordination.”
Strict access control measures will be enforced, with only ticket holders and accredited personnel allowed entry. The LSFA stressed its zero-tolerance policy for crowd control violations or unauthorized access.
Emergency response plans, anti-overcrowding measures, and general safety precautions are also in place to protect fans and participants alike.
The LSFA has called on all stakeholders—supporters, clubs, officials, media, and partners—to support its efforts by cooperating fully with security personnel and adhering to event guidelines.
