The lead administrator of Sports Journalist Forum (SJF), Godwin Enakhena, has congratulated Dr Nneka Anibeze on her appointment as the Chief Operating Officer of Athletics Federation of Nigeria (AFN).
Enakhena said the appointment didn’t come as a surprise as sports journalists, right from time, have consistently shown capacity and raised the bar in sports administration over time.

“We have had journalists in sensitive areas in sports administration from being club Chairmen to running leagues and associations.
Nneka has proven herself in various government roles, and this will not be an exception.
We trust her abilities and capacity in steering administratively the affairs of the Athletics Federation of Nigeria.
It is with such enthusiasm that we offer our congratulations, ” Enakhena concluded.
Dr. Anibeze Nneka is currently the special adviser on media and publicity to Hannah Musawa, the minister of arts, culture, tourism, and creative economy.
