Super Eagles forward Ademola Lookman has declared that he is far from satisfied with his football journey, stating that he still has much to accomplish in his career.
Speaking about his progress so far, Lookman acknowledged the recognition he received last year, including his CAF award, but made it clear that it is only a small milestone on a much longer path.
“Retiring now and being content is not even anywhere near any of my thoughts. It’s a long, long journey and there’s so much more to achieve. So for me, this is another part of my journey, but it’s a long, long road to still go.”
The Atalanta star, who has continued to impress at both club and international level, emphasized his ambition and hunger for greater success, saying the accolades so far are just stepping stones.
Lookman’s words reflect the mindset of a player determined to reach new heights, both for himself and the Nigerian national team, as they build towards upcoming international campaigns.
