It was a moment of pure joy and emotion as Galatasaray fan Neslihan Demir finally met her football idol, Victor Osimhen, after a recent match.
The devoted supporter and farmer from Yeşilhisar, Kayseri, had gone viral earlier in the season for crafting a hand-knitted doll of Osimhen as a personal gift in honor of his stellar performances.

Demir, a mother of four, used the traditional amigurumi technique to create the doll over eight days and had one wish, to hand it to Osimhen herself.
That wish came true as she presented the gift to the Nigerian striker following Galatasaray’s 3-0 victory, a match in which Osimhen once again found the back of the net.
“I made this with all my heart,” Demir said. “It’s my way of showing gratitude for everything he’s done for our team. Osimhen is not just a player, he’s a symbol of hope and strength for us.”
Osimhen, who has now scored a record-breaking 36 goals in his debut season with Galatasaray, was visibly touched by the gesture.
The striker has already helped the club lift the Turkish Cup and is now leading them toward a historic 25th league title.
Demir’s gesture represents the deep emotional bond Galatasaray fans share with Osimhen, who has become more than just a footballer to the community, he’s a hero.
Her earlier vow to support the club financially if it meant signing Osimhen permanently resonated with fans across Turkey.
As Galatasaray edges closer to league glory, this heartfelt moment between fan and footballer will be remembered as one of the most touching stories of the season.
