The title was confirmed on Sunday after second-placed Bayer Leverkusen drew 2-2 away at Freiburg. Leverkusen needed a win to keep their title hopes alive after Bayern’s 3-3 draw with RB Leipzig on Saturday, where the Bavarians made a comeback from 2-0 down but conceded late to settle for a point.
Nigerian stars Victor Boniface and Nathan Tella both start the match on the bench for Leverkusen, Tella later introduced by the coach but his efforts was not enough to stop Bayern from lifting the trophy.
It’s a landmark moment for Kane, who made the switch from Tottenham last summer in pursuit of silverware and now he finally has it.
Bayern Leverkusen snapped the 11 consecutive titles of Bayern Munich when they upset the books last season by winning the title last season without losing a match all season.
Bayern Munich have now won 12 of the last 13 Bundesliga Title, which underline their dominance of the championship over the years .
