The management of Buruj Sports Academy have confirmed that registration of players for the first foreign outing in year 2019 will close next week just as they hope to complete the squad list ahead of submission to the organisers.
The 2017 and 2018 champions of the English Super Cup have also been putting finishing touches to their preparation in the areas of logistics and technical while friendly games will be organized to put the players in top shape and also create team cohesion.
Speaking on the level of preparation so far, the CEO Salaudeen Waheed explained that his boys are ready to do Lagos State and country proud in all the tourneys they are going to feature in this year just as he called on sports loving Nigerians and corporate organisations to show interest to sponsor some of the players most especially the extremely talented ones but who need help to play in such high profile competitions where they can play their way to stardom.
He also called on government at all levels to see sports development as a social investment that they can leverage on in terms of social welfare and youths development.
Some of the tournaments where they players of the academy will participate this year include the TTD Super Cup in Dubai, the English Super Cup, the Welsh Super Cup, the Manchester Cup and Spanish Cup, all packaged by Team Tours Direct based in Swansea, the United Kingdom.
