Aaron Samuel Receives Special Welcome At Sichuan

Former Super Eagles striker, Aaron Samuel Olanere has received a special welcome message at Sichuan Longfor of China, following his deal with the lower division club on Friday.

Samuel, who is making a return to the country where he once plied his trade, before moving to CSKA Moscow of Russia, put up an attractive pose on a blistering red background to affirm his sealed deal with Sichuan.

Samuel, who scored two goals in four games for the Super Eagles during the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers, indicated that he is happy to join the Chinese League One club in a free transfer.

The 24-year-old striker, who has also played for Dolphins of Port Harcourt, Amkar Perm of Russia, as well as Vålerenga and Sarpsborg 08 of Norway, moves to Sichuan Longfor as a free agent, after mutually terminating his contract with Beitar Jerusalem of Israel in December.

During his first term playing in China, Samuel starred for Guangzhou R&F from 2014 to 2017, during which time he scored 15 goals and got seven assists in 35 matches, after which he first joined CSKA on loan in February 2016 and signed a permanent contract with The Armymen in January 2017.
