9-Year Old Okolo Dunamis Aims to Surpass Own 2024 Feat at 2025 LFLP Teakwando Championship

Okolo Dunamis, a remarkable 9-year-old taekwondo up and coming athlete from Femfield Schools, has been making waves in the martial arts world.

She was discovered at the 2024 U17 LFLP Taekwondo Championship, where she defied expectations and secured the title of “Best Female Fighter” in her weight category.

Her impressive performance in three bouts showcased her dedication, skill, and potential as a young Nigerian athlete.

According to her coach, “Dunamis is a rare talent fearless, disciplined, and technically brilliant for her age. We’re looking forward to the 2025 edition, where surpassing her previous feat is the goal, as we continue to chase her dream of representing Nigeria in taekwondo.”

As the 2025 edition approaches, Dunamis is expected to deliver an outstanding performance.

With her sights set on achieving even more, she’s preparing to shine at the U17 LFLP Taekwondo Championship and other upcoming competitions.

About 2025 U17 LFLP Taekwondo Championship

The championship, organized by Body Dynamics, will take place on June 14, 2025, at the LFLP Basketball Court, Victoria Island, Lagos. The competition is open to athletes in the following categories:

– Peewee (4-6 years)
– Infant (7-11 years)
– Cadet (12-14 years)
– Junior (15-17 years)

Distinguished athletes will receive gold, silver, and bronze medals, as well as certificates. The Best Team, Best Referee, and Best Players (male/female) will be awarded trophies and certificates.

Registration Details

Registration for the 2025 U17 LFLP Taekwondo Championship is ongoing, with the following deadlines:

– Early registration: May 16, 2025
– Regular registration: May 30, 2025
– Late registration (with additional fees): May 17, 2025, onwards
