Kulishin United bagged their playoff round ticket of the ongoing 7th Adamu Yola Gombe South Unity Cup after they whipped PK Rangers 4-1 in a Group C tie on Wednesday at Shongom LGA centre for their second consecutive victory.
Midfield maestro Kembu Lawan popularly called Messi wrapped up what was a whitewash for PK Rangers. He came off the bench to score from a brilliant right footed volley after he was released by Samson Apolos who unselfishly passed the ball to him even while at an advantage to score in the 90th minute.
Kulishin United topped Group C in Shongom LGA centre after winning their two games. They beat Yuru Boys 2-1 in their first game before the show of supremacy against PK Rangers.
They thus qualified with six points from two games ahead of Yuri boys and PK Rangers.
However, Kulishin United will play a playoff round to pick a Round of 16 ticket. They will face the winner of Group D in Shongom centre which will either be Panwa FC, Yatereng or Pero Boys on the 4th of December.
Kulishin United crashed out of the 6th edition of the Adamu Yola Gombe South Unity Cup in the quarterfinal stage.
