Super Falcons attacker Esther Okoronkwo led new set arrivals into Super Falcons camp as preparations continue in Lome, Togo, ahead of their 2026 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) qualifying first-leg tie against the Benin Republic.
As of Tuesday night, 18 players have arrived at the team’s camp base at Hotel Sarakawa, Lome, as the squad continues to take shape under head coach Justine Magudu.

Among the latest arrivals are Esther Okoronkwo, Osinachi Ohale, Michelle Alozie, Chiwendu Ihezuo, and Deborah Abiodun, all of whom joined up with the team to boost preparations ahead of Thursday’s encounter.
Earlier arrivals in camp include key stars Asisat Oshoala, Chiamaka Nnadozie, Christy Ucheibe, Taiwo Afolabi, Folashade Ijamilusi, Miracle Usani, Joy Omewa, Aderline Mgbechi, Blessing Illivieda, and Kafayat Mafisere.
The Super Falcons are expected to continue with their tactical drills and team bonding sessions on Wednesday by 2:30 pm local time as coach Magudu fine-tunes his strategy for the crucial first leg scheduled for October 24 in Lome, Togo.
Nigeria will be aiming to make a strong statement in the first leg before returning home for the decisive reverse fixture.
