The 2026 NBA All-Star Weekend will tip off tonight with the Ruffles NBA All-Star Celebrity Game at 2 a.m. CAT on ESPN, followed by Castrol Rising Stars, first of three All-Star events broadcast live across Africa on SuperSport, Showmax, Canal+, ZAP TV and beIN Sport, from 3 a.m. CAT.

The All-Star action will continue tomorrow with NBA All-Star Saturday Night taking place from midnight CAT (also live on NTV in Kenya) and will culminate with the 75th NBA All-Star Game on Sunday (midnight CAT).
Three players with direct ties to the continent have been selected to take part in this year’s All-Star Game – Giannis Antetokounmpo (Milwaukee Bucks; Greece, ties to Nigeria), Victor Wembanyama (San Antonio Spurs; France, ties to the Democratic Republic of the Congo) and Pascal Siakam (Indiana Pacers; Cameroon).
The 2026 Ruffles® NBA All-Star Celebrity Game will feature Indian entertainment icon Badshah, Brazilian soccer legend Cafu, Senegalese former NBA player Tacko Fall, Chinese Canadian actor Simu Liu, Canadian Olympian Andre De Grasse and Chinese actor/singer Dylan Wang. Giannis Antetokounmpo and his brothers Thanasis and Alex will serve as coaches.
Fans from 56 countries and territories are set to attend NBA All-Star 2026, a record for any NBA event in North America. NBA All-Star 2026 will reach fans in 214 countries and territories in more than 50 languages on their televisions, computers, mobile phones and tablets.
As part of NBA All-Star 2026, 40 of the top high-school-age prospects from 29 countries and territories have travelled to Los Angeles to participate in the 10th annual Basketball Without Borders (BWB) All-Star camp, which will be held Friday, Feb. 13 – Sunday, Feb. 15 at the UCLA Health Training Center.
The camp will feature seven players born in Africa or with direct ties to the continent, including from Cameroon, Central African Republic, Nigeria, Morocco and Senegal.
