CENN Foundation football club of Mbaise has emerged champions of the St DOMS cup after defeating Obizi United football club on penalties.

The Mbaise side where held to a 1-1 draw for 90mins which took the game to penalties.
CENN FC safe hands sensation Felix Mudiaga was the hero of the day when he parried 3 penalty kicks from United while Enoch Obasi, Chibueze Izum, and Gabriel Etim converted their spot kicks to seal the victory for the Mbaise side.
Recall that CENN FC was the runner-up of ST DOMS Cup 2021 but defiled all odds in this latest 2023 edition to emerge champions.
CENN FC knocked out four other teams to get to the finals of the tournament.
CENN FC defeated Mbaise all-stars through a lone goal by Ifeanyi Emmanuel.
CENN fc also defeated Rabbi FC 1-0 with a lone strike from Nonyerem Opara

Excited CENN FC Players expressed their happiness at winning the trophy and said it was a deserved win but admitted that the matches were tough but they were equal to the challenge.
Adding their voice to the fray the Mbaise UK-based community said that these programs truly unify the youths in Mbaise and hailed the organizers of the tournament St Dom for the program and in the same vein congratulated Cenn FC for emerging champions.
