2022 IASC UNITY CUP: Island Allstars Club Director, Kelvin Irikefe, Promises To Deliver “World Class” Tournament

The annual Island Allstars Football tournament is set to have its 2022 edition just around the corner and will see four teams vying for the coveted golden trophy which is going to be a world class affair according to the Club Director, Kelvin Irikefe and tournament Cordinator Emeka Ibe Sports247 reports.

The tournament promises excitement amidst stiff competitions even as the four in-house Corporate Teams Sponsors – DSha Properties and Homes, JohnMax Properties Ltd., HIQ AUTO CENTER, and First Rush Oil Ltd; who jointly signed a Tournament Fair Play and Peace Accord yesterday, promising to go all out in friendly hostilities.

“It is going to be a world class tournament unparalleled in the history of Allstars Football in Africa, as show of unity and to celebrate the newly innaugurated Exco, ably led by the President, Ikenna Maduagwu,” the Director told Sports247.

The competition will see the teams tackle each other for six days in a Round-Robin League to decide the champions on the 10th of December, leading to the club end of year party and awards night next, at which new members will also be formally inducted in a glamorous ceremony at the prestigious Civic Center, Victoria Island, Lagos.

Also as prelude to the football fiesta, the club’s welfare week is rounding up with massive distribution of educational materials and financial supports to designated public schools and hospitals around Lekki-Ajah; a annual trade mark community development project as the number one and fastest growing adult recreational club in west Africa. The public are welcome to share the in this family funfair and celebration og healthy living.

 

The competition will kick start on Saturday, 15th of October, 2022, at the Lagos Business School Sports Complex.
