The most prestigious annual Allstar football competition in Lagos, Nigeria and Africa gets set for the 2022 edition which the President of Island Allstars Club themed the “battle of quantum leap” Sports247 reports.
Mr Ikenna Maduagwu, President of the Island Allstar Club chose the theme as it depicts the meteoric rising profile of the club; while the Leader of the Club, Chief Chijioke Isiolu, tags it “Tango of the Big Boys”.
The competition is set to have four teams battle for the title in a round robin format beginning on Saturday, 15th October 2022 at the Lagos Business School Sports Complex after which the champions will emerge on the 10th of December.
The end of the tournament ushers in the end of the year party of the club and awards night, at which new members will also be formally inducted into the club in Civic Centre, Lagos.
