Perennial champions of the Under-15 category of the Jos Chillin Football Tournament, Mees Palace Football Academy, went goals crazy as they mauled Young Stars FA 7-0 to book their semi-final ticket.
Ahmed Musa opened the flood gates of goals with a hattrick, before the quartet of Emmanuel David, Emmanuel Ukeyima, Solomon Adobo, and Ismail Bashir completed the rout.
Other teams that joined the Blue Panthers in the last four are City Rollers FA, who overcame Elkanemi Juniors FA 2-1, Pepsi Football Academy, who sent Rayfield Selected FA packing at the quarter-final stage with a whooping 4-0 scoreline, and St. Monica Academy who had to go through of the penalty luxury, beating Flying Shooters 4-2, after the normal time play ended goalless.
At the Under-10 category, Jazzy Stars Football Academy stopped Mees Palace Football Academy from having all their teams at the finals of the three categories(Under-10, Under-13, and Under-15), defeating them 1-0 at the quarter-finals to qualify to the semi-final.
Emmanuel Sunday got the only goal for Jazzy Stars FA in the 22nd minute. The Galaxies join the likes of Royal Stars, who beat Holy Ghost FA 2-0, Success FC, who beat Top Free Academy 5-4 on penalties, after a 1-1 regulation time score, and Kuru Young Stars also booked their semi-final ticket after overcoming Flying Shooters 5-4 on penalties, having played a 1-1 regulation time score in the semi-final.
Finally, all the quarter-finalists are now known in the Under-13 category.
The last eight teams are:
Soccer Boys and Unbeatable FC from Group A.
Jazzy Stars FA and SS Diamond from Group B.
Mees Palace FA and Liverpool FA from Group C.
And, Top Free FA and Ajester FC from Group D.
