2019 Ahlan Cup: Nyima’s First Half Strike Earned Pillars The Maximum Points Over Kada City

Nwagua Nyima’s 36th minute strike gave Kano Pillars FC the maximum points in their second game with Kada City FC in the on going 2019 Ahlan Preseason tournament on Wednesday evening.

The solitary strike earned Nyima the man of the match award as voted by the sports writers who covered the match.

Presenting him with the award, Permanent Secretary Kano State Ministry of Sports and Youths Development, Alhaji Ibrahim Ahmad Sagagi, congratulates him and urged the entire players of the Aiteo Cup Champions to keep on pushing more harder til the last day of the tournament.

On his part, the dazzling forward dedicates the award to his team mates, technical crew and the entire fans of the club.

He also assured the fans that they would not disappoint them in the ongoing Ahlan Cup and the forthcoming 2019/2020 NPFL season.

Shortly after the match, a cross section of the fans of the four time NPFL Champions expressed their dismayed with the attitude of their technical Adviser, Ibrahim A. Musa towards the match officials shortly after the final whistle which led the centre referee, Nura Muhammad from Zamfara to give him a red card.

With this development, coach Ibrahim A. Musa will not be on the Pillars bench when they take on Rivers Utd in their last group game on Friday.
