He scored two goals and provided one assist in four appearances, helping Denmark secure a third-place finish after defeating Mexico 2–1 in the bronze medal match.

The teenager’s decisive goals against DR Congo and Japan, as well as his creativity and composure on the ball, earned him the tournament’s Special Player Award—recognizing his influence despite being one of the youngest players in the tournament.

Obi’s performances have fueled excitement about his future at both club and international levels. Eligible to represent Nigeria, Denmark, or England, he currently features for Denmark’s youth sides and is expected to progress to the U21 team.

With Manchester United having already introduced him to the first-team environment, and after a successful post-season tour appearance, Chido is now seen as one of the most promising young forwards in European football.
