Ogu describes league game against Hapoel Raanana as final

Hapoel Beer Sheva midfielder John Ogu has described his team’s home game against Hapoel Raanana as ‘a final.’

The reigning league champions have had a torrid start to life in the 2018/19 Israeli top flight season.

Ogu is looking at the game as an opportunity for his team to repair their image on Saturday. He is desperate to see his team prevail.

“I think Hapoel Beer Sheva will come out very fired up and we know that in extreme situations people can produce their best,” the former Academica star told Sports247.ng.

“It’s a nice game to play, and one we hope to win. They (Hapoel Raanana) will be seeking a balm but we have to make sure that instead they find an Hapoel Beer Sheva that does things right.

“We now have to define whether we’re going to be mid-table, up or down. If we beat Raanana we will advance in. position, which will also define whether we have a season of excitement or suffering. It’s a final for us.”
