From July 23–27, 2025, Abuja will become the battleground for elite warriors as the 14th African Armwrestling Championship and 7th Para-Armwrestling Championship bring together over 400 athletes and officials from across the continent.
The excitement is boiling over as 20 African countries have now confirmed their full readiness — securing all travel documents, medical clearances, and logistics — and are preparing to land in Abuja in waves over the coming days.

The Nigeria Armwrestling Federation, in collaboration with the National Sports Commission and the Local Organizing Committee (LOC), has promised a world-class experience for all teams — from airport reception to accommodation, transportation, and top-tier competition venues.
